UMD Sustainability Fair

Come to the Kirby Rafters on Wednesday, October 30th from 11am to 2pm to participate in UMD’s Sustainability Fair. A variety of Northland organizations and vendors will be in attendance to help increase awareness of sustainability efforts in the area. Several UMD organizations will also be there to engage the audience with entertaining activities, as well as inform the campus of their current sustainability projects. Our main goal of the event is to encourage attendees to learn about how sustainability is being integrated around the UMD campus and in the community!

UMD’s Office of Sustainability is looking forward to hosting:  Minnesota PowerRecreation Sports Outdoor Program (RSOP), Student AssociationLOLL DesignsGnarfoodz, the Sustainable Agriculture Project (SAP at the UMD Farm), Natural Resource Research Institute (NRRI), MPIRGStudent Sustainability Coalition, Anthropology Student Research, KUMD Community RadioUniversity of Wisconsin Sustainable Management MS ProgramOffice of Civic Engagement, the Duluth Community Garden Program, Ecolibrium3, UMD Facilities Management, the Center for Environmental Education (CEED) and Social Psychology Student Research

Make sure to stop by the fair for fun games, free caramel apples, and a chance to win prizes!
